Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) Awareness

Course Goal/Description

This awareness course provides an overview of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM), the hazards and risks associated with NORM, and the control measures that should be put in place to avoid, or minimise the risk of, exposure to NORM.

LO8 Describe the PPE requirements when working with NORM
LO9 Describe NORM detection and monitoring equipment
LO10 Describe how to handle, store and dispose of contaminated equipment
